The Department of Engineering offers undergraduate studies leading to the Bachelor's degree of Engineering Sciences (B. Sc.) in the mentioned specialized majors. After successfully completing his studies, the student will obtain an accredited Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree from Cape Breton University in Canada, and an accredited Engineering Degree from the Supreme Council of Universities, which is approved by Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt. Also, students have the option to transfer to University of Ottawa after the first two years to finish their degree in Canada and obtain accredited Bachelor of Engineering Sciences.
The Faculty offers degree programs in the fields of Electronics & Communications, Computer, Architecture, Mechanics, Mechatronics, & Civil Engineering, with the primary goal of providing the students with an outstanding scientific and technical competencies to enable them to contribute effectively to the development of their societies, as well as having our highly qualified Academic staff supporting them to achieve their goals.
The School of Engineering maintains extensive and varied computing facilities as well as an array of laboratory facilities to support studies in areas such as General-purpose Electronics, Computer Science, Computer-aided Design, Robotics & Computer-aided Manufacturing, Software Engineering, Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics, Thermal Sciences & Instrumentation, Materials Science, & Microwaves.
