In 2011 an articulation agreement was signed between CIC BIT program and the university of Windsor where CIC students can apply to transfer to UWindsor at any time during their study to complete their degree toward a bachelor of computer science (honors applied computing) program in accordance with the admission requirements set by UWindsor.
Such student may be granted up to 22 semester courses credits toward the university’s bachelor of computer science honors program (total 40 courses), or they may enter the bachelor of computer science (General program) & be granted up to 17 semester course credit toward the university’s bachelor of computer science general program (total 30 courses).
Equalization will depend on what the student has finished successfully out of the accepted number of courses. Transfer will depend on the student acreage (no less than B+) and on completing the English requirements (TOEFL 550 or equivalent official score).
As a computer science concentration, programming courses will be a key part of your studies. These classes cover languages such as C++ and Java, and introduce you to the precise thinking behind computer programming. You’ll learn how to solve problems by translating a question into instructions a computer can follow to come up with the answers. And you’ll explore what goes on inside a computer when it’s solving a problem.
