The Canadian International College (CIC) was established in 2004, the first Canadian college in Egypt, and is partnered with University of Ottawa and Cape Breton University and has an articulation agreement with University of Windsor. CIC has programs in Business, Engineering and Mass Communication and grants both Canadian university degrees, and Egyptian degrees. CIC's admission standards comply with admission requirements at its Canadian partners.
CIC offers both Canadian and Egyptian degrees, which students can earn at the same time. CIC's Canadian degrees are issued directly from the partnered Canadian University, and are identical to the degrees received by Canadian students there. CIC's Egyptian degrees are accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. CIC's ongoing quality assurance measures ensure CIC students receive the same programs as their counterparts in the Canadian partner universities.
It is CIC's mission to play a key role in the technological advancement of the Egyptian industry through the co-operative education program. CIC always aims to host industries with well-educated employees possessing the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience needed for such advancement. The co-operative education internship program gives students the opportunity to enrich their education by alternating periods of classroom study with up to four periods of off-campus work experience at major local, Arab and international companies. |
