APPLY ONLINE
Admission process

Applicants pick up an Admission File that includes: an application form FAQ, a checklist of the documents required, the admission brochure and the statements of disclosure. The student pays L.E. 150 non refundable fee.

The applicant completes the form and brings in all his papers at the admission front desk together with the statements of disclosure signed by the student and guardian.

The Admission Front Desk Officer Checks Desk (FD) officer checks the application to make sure it is completed in the appropriate way with all the information included. He/she checks all the papers presented by the student and fills in the acknowledgment form listing the documents received and what documents are missing.  The FD Officer must make sure that the statement of disclosure is signed by student and guardian and handed in with the application. The student is given a CIC ID number.

Placement exams are assigned to the applicant by the Student Affairs Department FD Officer giving date, time and room for exams.

Placement exams fees of 400 LE are paid at the admissions front desk and the student is then given a receipt which he should keep and present later on in the date of the exam.
Applicants are usually informed about their placement exam results within 72 hours.
Applications are sent to the Canadian partner University for Approval (In case of the Dual-Degree & Canadian Tracks).

After this initial approval, the admission specialist/supervisor reviews the applicant's papers for approval and also revises high school transcript and calculates the percentage of the overall grade to check the possibility of acceptance.

The file is then revised by the Ministry Affairs Supervisor (in case of the Dual-Degree and CIC Regular Programs) for approval.
The Applicant name and information is now on the system and is completed as he/she proceeds with the admission steps.

The student's documents and application are placed in a file that becomes the student's file for his studying period. The Admission Front Desk Officer include a "A Student File Review " form with every file to keep track record of everything in the file and that everything is official and checked by the person in charge.

The admission final acceptance will be pending the Ministry and/or the Canadian university approval.

Registration process

Students should adhere to the advising procedures instructions posted up on CIC Boards including: dates, times, and rooms.

All students should abide with registration and advising deadlines; those who do not may be charged a penalty fee.

The student sits with the academic advisor to discuss his/her future courses and to choose the subjects he/she wants to register in for the semester.

Student will pay his/her FULL FEES according to the number of subjects he/she has chosen at CIC in order to receive his/her schedule and affirm his/her registration.

It is the total responsibility of each student to read the Academic Calendar (uploaded on the CIC Website and CMS) and to keep it as a reference to understand well the CIC rules and regulations and to get acquainted with all his duties, responsibilities and rights at CIC.

New students sit for an ID picture and receive their ID cards. No permanent IDs will be issued before the acceptance of the Ministry for the Dual-Degree and CIC Program Students. Students will be using a temporary ID until the acceptance is received.

If a student's ID is lost, the student must proceed to the Student Affairs Department to fill a request for a replacement ID card; a replacement fee will be charged to the student

Applicants who do not complete the registration process are asked to clarify their status; if they do not intend to continue, they must withdraw their files within three months, as CIC will not be responsible for their files after this period
